I read the Story of Easter, retold by Gwen Ellis and illustrated by Steve Smallman.
This is a children's book, and includes a DVD with short videos related to the story of Easter, coloring pages and trailers like "Hermies and Friends "Skeeters"".
The book is based on the story of Easter as told in the Bible. Each scene in the story is referenced by the passage in the Bible that it can be found.
It's a wonderful book that explains the truths of Christ's last days on the Earth in a way easily understood by younger children.
I was surprise at the level of detail that was included in such a simple book.
I liked how this book was clear in presenting the message it intended. The illustrations are colorful and pull the reader into the story; to capture so much emotion on simple cartoon characters.
I would definetely recommend this book. What a great book to share with your young ones/
